Terms & Conditions

Liability

Racingtrackdays, their employees and their partners accept no liability for injuries or property damages on or in the vicinity of the racetrack. Furthermore Racingtrackdays and their partners are not required to provide a third-party insurance cover. All participants, including novices, will be required to sign an indemnity form before being allowed to ride on the circuit. In the case of minors, this is to be signed by a legal guardian. The participants are personally responsible for any injuries or property damages caused by anyone using their motorcycle who has not registered for the event or signed and returned an indemnity form. Furthermore the participant will have their booking cancelled immediately with no refund and be required to pay the entrance fee for the unregistered user.

Technical requirements

Before entrance to the race circuit motorcycles will be randomly required to undergo a safety check. Motorcycles not meeting the required standard will be excluded from the event until the required repair or adjustment is carried out. No refund is available in the case of such exclusions. The motorcycle should be in a technically good condition i.e. acceptable tyre wear, sufficient brake pad material, functional shock absorbers, no leaks etc. Front and rear brake must function, fuel lines, oil filters and sump plugs should be tight and secure against accidental opening – however lock wiring is not required. Coolant should be replaced with water. Every rider is responsible personally for their motorcycle. All riders will be required to attend a compulsory safety briefing where the meaning of signal flags and other safety requirements will be explained.

The rider

Full leather one or two-piece suits are obligatory. Full face helmets, protective gloves, Boots with ankle protection and hard back protectors must be worn. We recommend wearing ear plugs also. All participants should be in sound medical health. Riding under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any medications resulting in a reduction of ability to ride will lead to an immediate removal from the event. The rider is to attend all briefings and ensure they are familiar with and adhere to the rules of the circuit – flags, lights and procedures etc. All riders are advised to obtain satisfactory medical and accident insurance for the event.

Skill levels required

You must have either a full UK motorcycle licence  or an ACU approved licence. You will not be allowed out on track without presenting either of these. Therefore, please do not forget to bring it along.
There is a wide range of abilities and the use of transponders means that you will be put into a group of similar abilities. You can move groups if you feel you need to as the event progresses.

Road legal bikes can be used at these events. Lockwiring is not a requirement.

Personal Insurance

It is the participants’ responsibility to arrange adequate medical and repatriation insurance cover, valid for the country in which the event is to take place. An E111 is advisable and all relevant documents should be carried at all times during the event. We recommend that all participants arrange additional medical insurance which covers timed track events. Four counties can supply this for individual events or yearly cover. 08456 300 200
